Opening an e-book

  1. Open the lesson and click Open Materials.

  2. The first time you click it in a course on a given day, a Request access window appears. Click Request access.

  3. Copy the login and password shown under the button. They are assigned to this lesson only.

  4. Sign in on the Oxford or Pearson website and open the book from the bookshelf.

  5. After the lesson, clear your notes and drawings in the book and sign out.

Need a different book than the one assigned to the lesson? If you have already requested access, the system doesn't always pick up the change. Write to us in the chat and we'll send you the login.

Rules for shared accounts:

  • Always use the login shown for your lesson. Don't save it and don't use logins from other lessons.

  • Never change the password or account settings.

  • Always sign out after the lesson, so the next teacher can use the book.

Quick fixes

If the book doesn't open, shows "Book not found" or a blank window:

  1. Sign out of the Oxford or Pearson account completely.

  2. Open the book in an Incognito / Private window in Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.

  3. Turn off ad blockers (AdBlock, uBlock) and VPN extensions for this site – they stop the book from opening in a new window.

  4. If Chrome or Edge doesn't work, try Firefox.

Still not working? Write to us in the chat with a screenshot of the error and the lesson date and time.

Licence errors

Our licences are shared between teachers. If you see "Cannot grant for materials because there are not enough licenses", "licence expired" or access denied, another teacher is using the same book right now.

Write to us in the chat with the book name and the lesson date and time. We'll send you a login for another account. If your lesson starts in less than 15 minutes, write straight away.

Changing the book

In courses that use a book you can change it yourself – for example when the wrong book is assigned or the student is ready for the next one. Step-by-step instructions are in Course management. For group courses, agree the change with the students first.

Only CC can switch a course from a book to Fluentbe presentations (or back) or change the course language – write to us in the chat.

Students and books

Students don't get access to our teacher e-books. They buy their own copy with help from our office – they are informed about this when they start. If a student asks you about the book, send them to [email protected].

Ready-to-send message for your student

  • Student wants their own book: "If you'd like your own copy of the coursebook, please write to our office at [email protected] and they will help you." / PL: "Jeśli chcesz mieć własny egzemplarz podręcznika, napisz proszę do biura na [email protected] – pomogą Ci."
