Open the e-book for my lesson

  1. Open the lesson. Less than 15 minutes before the start, the login and password appear under Open Materials.

  2. Need the book earlier? Click Open Materials → Request access.

  3. Copy the login and password shown under the button. They are assigned to this lesson only.

  4. Sign in on the publisher’s website and open the book from the bookshelf.

  5. After the lesson, clear your notes and drawings in the book and sign out. You stay signed in until you sign out yourself. Don’t use Save and Close.

❗ Rules for shared accounts

  • Always use the login shown for your lesson. Don’t save it and don’t use logins from other lessons.

  • Never change the password or account settings.

  • Once you sign in, access stays until you sign out. Always sign out after the lesson, so the next teacher can use the book.

Open a book for another language

Most courses in other languages use e-books on Blink, CLE or e-polish.eu. You get the login the same way as for any e-book: see Open the e-book for my lesson above. The same rules for shared accounts apply.

Get a login for a different book (after I clicked Request access)

You need a different book than the one assigned to the lesson, but you have already requested access? The system doesn’t always pick up the change. Write to us in the chat and we’ll send you the login.

The course has the wrong book for good? See “Change the book in the course” below.

Fix a book that doesn’t open

The book doesn’t open, shows “Book not found” or a blank window:

  1. Sign out of the Oxford or Pearson account completely.

  2. Open the book in an Incognito / Private window in Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.

  3. Turn off ad blockers (AdBlock, uBlock) and VPN extensions for this site: they stop the book from opening in a new window.

Still not working? Write to us in the chat with a screenshot of the error and the lesson date and time.

Other technical problems? See Technical issues in the lesson.

Fix a licence error

Our licences are shared between teachers. If you see “Cannot grant for materials because there are not enough licenses”, “licence expired” or access denied, another teacher is using the same book right now.

Write to us in the chat with the book name and the lesson date and time. We’ll send you a login for another account.

❗ Your lesson starts in less than 15 minutes? Write to us straight away.

Change the book in the course

In courses that use a book you can change it yourself, for example when the wrong book is assigned or the student is ready for the next one. In group courses, agree the change with the students first.

Step-by-step instructions: see Course management.

Switch to Fluentbe Presentations or change the course language

You can’t do it yourself. Write to us in the chat with the link to the course.

Fix a book that changed by itself

Change it back yourself (see “Change the book in the course”) and write to us in the chat with the link to the course, so we can check why it happened.

Help a student who wants the book

Students don’t get access to our teacher e-books. They can buy their own copy: they are told about this when they start. If a student asks you about the book, ask them to write to [email protected].
