Your teacher account & what students see

A quick tour of your teacher panel, what you can change in your profile yourself, and what your students see in Student Space.

Your teacher panel

Log in at school.fluentbe.com. The blue panel on the left has these sections:

  • Dashboard – your next 5 lessons, your availability, lessons finished last month and this month (with deductions under "Penalties"), and your attendance score.

  • Students – all students assigned to you, with their course, company (business students only), level and lessons left in their package.

  • Courses – your active courses (List) and past ones (Archived). In an archived course you can see the history, but you can't book lessons or message the student.

  • Lessons – List shows scheduled and finished lessons (30 days back and 30 days ahead by default – change it with the date filter). Canceled shows cancelled lessons with the reason.

  • Fluentbe Presentations – all our course programmes. Open Details to see every topic, its goals, and a Preview of what the student does before and after the lesson.

Attendance score (Dashboard): Perfect means students and our team can see you and you can get new courses. Suspended means you missed lessons in the last 30 days and may not get new teaching opportunities for a while. Talk to your mentor to get back to Perfect.

Next 5 demo lessons (Dashboard): only for demo teachers. Demo lessons are taught by teachers chosen by our methodologists – you need to work with us for at least a few months, avoid late cancellations and shortened lessons, and keep your feedback high.

Lesson icons in a course:

  • Circle with an arrow – a recurring lesson.

  • Lightning bolt – the student booked the lesson in their panel.

  • Both icons – a recurring lesson booked by the student.

Lessons are marked as finished automatically between 3:00 and 5:00 am (Polish time) if you didn't close them. See Lesson statuses, attendance & student no-shows.

Your profile

Click your avatar in the top-left corner. The profile has these tabs:

  • Profile – your photo, time zone, preferences and description (see below).

  • Lessons and Courses – a quick list of your lessons and active courses.

  • Schedule – all regular (recurring) lesson slots and when they were added. Check it before you change your availability.

  • Calendar of availability – your working hours, break between lessons, advance notice and Google Calendar connection. See Availability, Google Calendar & Time Off (link).

  • Teaching opportunities – offers for group substitutions and non-standard courses. If an offer has expired, another teacher accepted it first. Offers often go to several teachers at once.

  • Teacher stats – your completed lessons, no-shows, delays, shortened lessons and cancellations. See Teacher stats (link).

  • Salary – your earnings, extra payments and deductions. See Salary (link).

  • Feedback – the ratings students give your lessons (1–5 stars). Keep your average at 4.7 or higher – a lower average reduces your Teacher Score. [ZOSTAW pod listą obecne sekcje o feedbacku: skąd się bierze, pytania z ankiety i część o korygowaniu błędów i czasie mówienia ucznia.]

What your students see (Student Space)

Students use a separate site, Student Space (space.fluentbe.com). It has these sections:

  • Start – lessons left in the package, attendance this month, the next lesson, their courses, a button to book a lesson, and the previous lesson with its subject, materials and a short survey.

  • Course plan – all topics of the course programme. Each topic has four parts: Pre-lesson, Lesson materials, Homework and Vocabulary (Fluentbe Flashcards).

  • Messages – chat with you, with files and links from each course.

  • My lessons – the full lesson history with status and attendance, and the option to connect their own calendar (Google, Apple, Outlook).

  • My account – personal data, payment history, lessons left and certificates.

  • Tools – Kaia, Translator, Corrector, Dictionary and Synonyms.

  • Connection test – in the menu under their avatar.

Important: the lesson subject is visible to the student. If you want to add information about a lesson, don't write it in the subject. Use a note instead:

  1. Click the date of the lesson.

  2. Open the Notes tab.

  3. Click Add note, write the note and click Add.

You can't see the students' flashcards. To preview the other tasks, open the topic in Fluentbe Presentations → Details → Preview.

If a student has a problem with their account, payments or calendar connection, ask them to write to [email protected].
