Your Questions Answered – Recruitment FAQs

Updated this week

  1. "Do you provide teaching materials, or does the teacher prepare them independently?"
Yes, we provide all the materials. We use our own original presentations or textbooks from the Hueber publishing house.

  2. "What kind of groups do you teach – children, teenagers, adults, companies?"
We primarily offer classes for adults and corporate clients. Teenagers or individual clients may occasionally appear, but this is rare. Most classes are for companies – either one-on-one or in groups.

  3. "Are the classes only one-on-one, or do you offer group classes as well?"
We provide both individual and group classes.

  4. "How many students are there in a group, at most?"
Groups usually consist of 4 to 6 people.

  5. "Does the teacher choose the groups/schedule, or are they assigned?"
Groups are assigned by our office based on the teacher’s availability.

  6. "Do you offer substitutes when a teacher can’t conduct a class?"
Yes, this is possible. If needed, the teacher can request a substitute for a specific date.

  7. "Is there a platform with lessons, materials, or recordings?"
Yes, all materials are available on our platform. Each lesson has assigned materials – presentations or textbooks.

  8. "How does communication with the student work – does the teacher contact them directly or is it done by someone from the admin team?"
Communication with the student takes place exclusively through our Fluentbe School platform. The teacher can contact the student, but only within the system.

  9. "Do you offer internal training or methodological support?"
Yes, we offer internal training sessions and webinars. Every teacher also has a mentor who provides support and assistance in day-to-day work.

  10. "What does the onboarding process for a new teacher look like?"
The onboarding process starts with a welcome meeting, during which the next steps in the collaboration are presented. After that, the teacher receives support from a mentor, who helps with:

  • completing the profile on the platform,

  • setting availability,

  • getting familiar with the materials,

  • showing how to start and end a lesson.

The teacher receives all necessary information before conducting their first class.

  1. How long are the lessons?
Standard individual lessons last a full 60 minutes, same as group lessons, unless a different duration is specifically requested.

  2. Can I use my own materials?
We use our own materials, which are aligned with the school’s program and standards.

  3. What are the rates for teachers?
We don’t offer one fixed rate - compensation is determined individually and updated quarterly. When setting the rate, we take into account several factors: the teacher’s experience, availability, performance during the demo lesson, and the type of contract. Estimated monthly pay (for part-time or full-time work) may range from 1,000 to 4.800 PLN

  4. Is the onboarding paid?
The onboarding is not paid. It is designed to efficiently and clearly help the teacher smoothly integrate into Fluentbe.

  5. What types of contracts do you offer?
We offer cooperation based on either a B2B contract or a contract of mandate

  6. Do candidates choose the topic for the demo lesson and confirm it before the interview?
Yes, candidates choose one of the three available demo lesson topics.
