Ensure that Zoom has permission to use your camera, microphone, and screen sharing, and troubleshoot any issues before the meeting.
3. Where can I check the time of my interview?
You will receive reminders one day before and 30 minutes before the meeting. After scheduling the interview, you can also accept the Google Calendar invitation, which will display the meeting time in your local time zone to avoid confusion.
4. Can I reschedule the interview?
You may reschedule the interview once. You can manage the meeting using the buttons at the bottom of the reminder email or through the Google Calendar event. You may also cancel the meeting; in that case, you will receive a link to schedule a new interview.
5. What is the interview like?
The interview lasts approximately 20–40 minutes. It begins with a few introductory questions, followed by the demo lesson. Afterwards, we discuss your previous experience, current availability, and contract-related information.
During the interview- Let’s meet!
1. Do candidates choose the topic for the demo lesson and confirm it before the interview?
Yes, candidates choose one of the three available demo lesson topics.
2. What should I focus on in the demo lesson?
We value student-centered lessons with a strong focus on student production and prefer an inductive approach. Prepare a practical activity and avoid long explanations or theoretical lectures. The lesson should be interactive, encourage student participation, and cover a small part of the topic effectively.
3. Do I need to prepare materials for my demo lesson?
Yes, you may use visuals if you find them helpful, but please avoid using videos. The demo lesson lasts up to 10 minutes, and we want to make the most of that time.
4. What are the rates for teachers?
We don’t offer one fixed rate - compensation is determined individually and updated quarterly. When setting the rate, we take into account several factors: the teacher’s experience, availability, performance during the demo lesson, and the type of contract. Estimated monthly pay (for part-time or full-time work) may range from 1,000 to 9.600 PLN (240 to 2100 EUR)
5. What types of contracts do you offer?
We offer cooperation based on either a B2B contract or a contract of mandate
After the interview
1. Will I receive an answer even if the interview isn’t successful?
Yes, we will inform you of the outcome of your interview and provide individual feedback on your demo lesson after the interview.
2. What does the onboarding process for a new teacher look like?
The onboarding process starts with a welcome meeting, during which the next steps in the collaboration are presented. After that, the teacher receives support from a mentor, who helps with:
completing the profile on the platform,
setting availability,
getting familiar with the materials,
showing how to start and end a lesson.
The teacher receives all necessary information before conducting their first class.
3.Is the onboarding paid?
The onboarding is not paid. It is designed to efficiently and clearly help the teacher smoothly integrate into Fluentbe.
4.Can I teach while I travel?
Yes, as long as you have a stable internet connection, a quiet environment, and a neat background. It is important that there are no distracting noises or interruptions, and that people are not walking behind you during the lesson.
